the new Dhivehi original album Furolhu by Kushehnooney band has been released. Its an album that has been long awaited after their Powerful performance at the original Raalhugandu show.
First of all the cover is quite original with a little reflection of a Pearl Jam album (Yeild), the Tracks are arranged perfectly and seemt o tell a story.
The lyrics are so ordinary and simple at most songs that it is easy and very catchy. The msuic is if i could term it, Rock, and with a sensible amount of distortion on the guitars. The melodies are perfect, almost Beatles like and no pun intended there as the album is mastered at the Famous Abbey Road Studio.
The arrangements are again as perfect as possible, and most songs seem to have a local rhythem to it. Love the chorus on most songs...especially Furolhu. This is a perfect time for an original class record of Maldives to be released.
This group of individuals have been able to combine Hard Rock with local Rhythems.
Over all to constructively criticise... the album good use some strong lyrical songs as well and some songs seem to have not so perfect note singing by the vocalist...
All in all this is a five star deserving Album.
150/- is cheap for local currency and this album is available at Bay watch
