Music is in our soul and in our hearts and with us all the time. Traditionally Maldivians were so into music that we literally used it as a mediate for meditation and reaching a higher state of mind."Vajidhuvun".

Well music defines the culture, and culture evolves through times. People change and life and living standards change as well. Traditional drum and rhythem based music has given way to techno off beat and rap music.

Lyrically quality or content is at an all time low. Bob Dylan has given way to Eminem.

Well im not complaining just stating a fact. Just that some people beleive thta music is no more since there no longer are true rock muscicians and instrument players like Led Zeppelin and Mettalica. I think to beleive thta the present music is not music is out right dumb. The truth is this is the music of our time. Rap and HIp-Hop.

What is" Freedom?"

We the people of Maldives probably ned to look up freedom in a dictionary. There seems to be so muh confusion about the meaning. Or maybe we just dont want some one telling us the meaning of a word that we have never used before.

SO maybe freedom also means a different thing for each individual. Then do we not have a problem? We ould be crossing the freedom border line of another withhout knowing.

Maybe we just follow the set and agreed rules of freedom that we all agree to on a natonal level. Then i wonder what happens to nations with different traditions and beleifs?

I am clueless here?..Any ideas?...

Green Maldives and Dive Maldives!

So many dive sites and locations through out Maldives. World reknown dive locations. The one commodity that keeps the tourists comming. Tourism the life line of the Maldivian economy.

What will Happen if there was a decline in tourism?..Imagine...

I mean if we are not promoting echo tourism and protecting the existing dive sites....Kaboom!!!

Then in a country that depends on a declining water lense and coral reefs and natural water lakes, you dont have to be a geologist to wonder the consequences of not protecting them...

Divisions form amongst families and ruins
Tired of nothing and everythin that is happening

Security Cameras and Privacy!!!

I want one in my bed room to prove my innocencse. Well there seems to be so many all around maybe we can have one in every home. Ok, i dont knowwhy we need one at the Raalhugandu surfing point, wel maybe we just dont understand the higher purpose of thto government and their plans of protecting the citizens of Maldives.

I mean a security camera in homes and being monitored by the Police means that here will be hard evidence to indict the theif.

Loosing Faith!!!

There seem to be so many kids n oyung poeple mislead into beleiving that the islam teacher in their tenth grade class was right about everything. Or being so disgusted about the teacher and what he told that they totally waver from religion.
WHO IS TO BLAME THAT WE GOT GOTHS AND WICARS AND CHRISTIANS AMONGST US?

Youth!!! Wake Up!!!

The last population cencus showed that the maldivian population has more than 35% youth between ages of 18 to 25.

So maybe the 35% should start thinking about their future in the Republic of Maldives.

Lets wonder if this country is ours or if it belongs to a group of old pharts.

IF WE WANT OUR KIDS TO HAVE A BRIGHT FUTURE WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING ABOT THE PRESENT STATUS OF THE MALDIVES ISALNDS!!!
